JESPER AX
Hi, im Jesper, born and raised in Sweden, in a small town outside Gothenburg called Vârgârda. I did my education as a professional artist at the Performing Arts School in Gothenburg!
Before I came to Gran Canaria , I worked in various jobs as a singer, dancer, actor, producer and choreographer.
This is my 3rd year at Garbo’s, two of them as singing captain.
When i’m not on stage i work with autistic people in a school with kids who have special needs.
I love both my “proffesions” very much,they are two complety different worlds, both fantastic!
I’m very lucky!!
ALBIN FORSSLUND
Music is and always has been a major part of my life, as my father is a professional musician and has been for the last 45 years.
I have always enjoyed singing, playing instruments and standing on stage. My father and other influences gathered through the last 10 years caused me to apply, get accepted and complete the professional singer/artist education at Kulturama in Stockholm.
Just a few weeks before my graduation from Kulturama, i got a call from Garbo's saying theyd like me to be in their show.
So after 25 years in Sweden, Im now here at Garbo's, working in my first full time job in showbusiness...and loving it!
FRIDA APPELQUIST
I am 28 , come from a small town in Sweden, grew up with my loving mom, dad and sister. I love chocolate, dogs and happy movies, I don’t like spiders, mushrooms and big boats.
I have been dancing and singing since I was a young girl and in my career,as a performer, I have done a lot of fun things, singing in a pop-band, musicals, big shows, small shows and I won the Swedish championships for Lindyhop in the year 2000.
I love working abroad and much more!! And that’s what I´m gonna continue doing because I LOVE IT!! My motto is: Life is to short not to do what you really want ... So do it : )
LOUICE HOLMGREN
Born in Älgarås, Sweden, I grew up in Västergötland, Skåne and California. From the age of four (when making opera-songs, mostly about butterflies) 'til the age of 23 (realising that singing was something I wanted to do fulltime) music has always been an important part of my life.
After going through some training I went to Menorca/Mallorca to do ”We Will Rock You” and ”Mamma Mia” tribute shows for Basix Productions.
Followed by a variety of family shows at Sunwing in Turkey then Tenerife. After that I returned to Sweden for a year to work at Wallmans Salonger in Stockholm before heading out again, this time to Garbo´s Gran Canaria, where I'm now having a blast!
ELENOR ERIKSSON
Hi!
My name is Elenor and I´m 25 years old. I was born in Colombia but I came to Sweden when I was three months old. Song and dance have always played a huge part in my life.
After graduating from highshool I studied musical theatre at Kulturama in Stockholm for one year and then I moved to Gothenburg where I studied at the Balett academy for three years.
After that I thought it was time for me to spread my wings and I started to work for 2Entertain as a showartist at Blue Village hotels and I worked there for two seasons and now I´m here at Garbo´s and I´m lovin it!
ANDRE LINDERBERG
I was born and raised in Malmoe/Bara.
Took my first singing lesson in 2000 and since then i have kept on singing.
I began to work proffesionaly in 2005, after participating in a succé musical in my hometown.
I’ve been seen on stages across Europe and from the north to south of Sweden, and with my 188 cm, i am now the shortest guy in the assembly at garbos.I love Garbo’s as it is a fantastic place to work.
SAMMY DAHI
I trained at the performing arts school of Gothenburg.I knew from an early age that I wanted to perform.In my late teens i was dancing at some of Gothenburgs most famous clubs.
After graduating from performing arts school, I headed to mainland Greece headlining as a singer in various musical shows.Working through the late eighties and nineties I performed on stage and screen in Sweden including such shows as the Odessey and West Side Story at the Gothenburg opera house.
In 2000 I landed the lead in the midnight show production on the silja line cruise ships. I also worked on different shows for corporate company events as both artist and producer.During my spare time (if any) i like to relax with my guitar where I always come up with inspiration for songs.
CHARLOTTE ERIKSSON
Hi!
My name is Charlotte and I´m 24 years old. I grew up in small town called Mora in Sweden. If you´ve ever heard about the skiing competition "Vasaloppet", it´s where it´s held. So I grew up with a lot of snow!
The last 5 years I´ve been living in Gothenburg. I went there to study dance, theatre and singing for 3 years at Performing Arts School. After school I´ve worked as a dancer for 2 years at Cabaret Lorensberg in Gothenburg.
I´ve also done several other dance jobs during the last 2 years. For example I´ve been dancing at the Newspapers world congress and in a Swedish TV broadcasted Galashow called "Eldsjälsgalan".
CAROLINE JORNSVED
My name is Caroline Jornsved and i was born and rasied in Stocholm.
Before i came to Gran Canaria i lived in Florence for 6 months to study Italian and modern jazz.After that i moved to Gotenburg for three years to study dance, sining and acting at the Performing Arts School.
This is my third year working at Garbo's dinner show and my second year as dance captain. I love working at Garbo's because of the oportunity to perform on its fantastic stage and amazing atmospher.
Garbo's will always be very special to me.
