For the first time in Gran Canaria, X Alfonso, one of the leading figures in contemporary Cuban music and winner of the 2022 Latin Grammy, arrives at Garbo's.
Musician, composer, producer and visual artist, X Alfonso has built a unique career by blending rock, electronic music, hip hop and Afro-Cuban rhythms into a distinctive sound that has captivated audiences at international festivals such as Rock in Rio, WOMEX, SXSW, Roskilde and Luminato.
Also recognised for composing the soundtrack to Habana Blues, winner of a Goya Award, and as the founder of the renowned Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC)—named by TIME as one of the world's greatest cultural venues—X Alfonso delivers performances that go beyond music, becoming a truly artistic and emotional experience.
This will be a unique opportunity to experience live an artist who has transformed contemporary Cuban music by combining tradition and innovation with an intense, groundbreaking stage performance deeply connected to his roots.
